Dickens of a Christmas recreates the time of Charles Dickens using historic downtown Franklin’s charming architecture as the backdrop. A variety of musicians, dancers and Dickens characters will fill the streets. Expect to see and interact with the nefarious Fagin from Oliver Twist; Jacob Marley, Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim and the rest of the Cratchit family from A Christmas Carol; and of course, a Victorian Father and Mother Christmas with treats for children. The festival is produced by the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County and the Downtown Franklin Association!

Our Holiday Market is back for our second year!

This year we are co-hosting the market with Love Atlas Photography who is doing Christmas Tree and Poinsettia family photo sessions throughout both days.

We'll have cut trees, plantable tress, Poinsettias, Christmas Cacti, wreaths, and garland.

Our vendors will have a wide selection of items that are perfect to help you shop local for yourself and all of your loved ones!

We'll be updating this event with details about each of our vendors. And be on the lookout for a few fun giveaways in the weeks leading up to the markets!

You'll learn how to make your own candle through a demonstration. The candles will all be 8oz clear jars with black lids, multiple spring scents you can choose from with labels that you can write your scent on. And the wax will be dye free with a cotton wick. Then you will create your own personalized wood tray during the workshop. Select a tray design from the available options. We provide all the materials and instruct you step-by-step. Choose from a variety of paint and wood stain colors in the workshop. Pre-registration is required. We look forward to seeing you soon!

$10 per wide mouth mason jar. Pick as many as you can fit inside the jar! The jar is provided for you!

Helicopter rides are returning to the festival this year!
This is not included in our admission price. The helicopter provider will have a tent setup for you to sign up and pay for their services if you wish to participate. Helicopter rides are $35 per person.
